Our Services 

Extra Corporeal Shockwave Lithotripsy (ESWL)

The departments Dornier Delta Extra corporeal Shock wave Lithotripter is a third generation top of the line lithotripter which has dual imaging modality and can use both X-ray as well as ultrasound for locating stones. Radio-lucent and uric acid stones can be broken by using ultrasound modality of the machine.

Endo – urology

Surgery through endoscope, which does not require open procedures. Trans-urethral Resection of the prostate gland for enlarged prostate, Trans-urethral Resection of bladder tumor for bladder cancer, Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy and Ureterorenoscopy for kidney and ureteric stones are regularly performed through fine endoscopes.

Renal Transplant and Access Surgery

In the past five years almost 400 Live related and Cadaver transplants have been performed. Full range of access surgery like creating Arterio-venous Fistula and Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) catheter insertion are also done and over 500 such procedures have been undertaken.

Urological Cancers

The well trained surgeons and oncologists at our hospital, with a backup of all investigation tools including MRI and CT scans and Ultrasound including Trans-rectal ultrasound, provide a comprehensive uro-oncology service.

Paediatric Urology

Paediatric Urology is a specialty dealing with surgical problems of kidneys, bladder and genitalia in children. The department has surgeons dealing only with this area of expertise. It is a complex field and needs specialist experience and careful investigation to decide when a surgical intervention is required and when it can be avoided.

Andrology and Impotence

Trained doctors and nurses in the department offer medical and surgical treatment for impotence and infertility.

Urodynamics

We have the most advanced, fully computerized Urodynamic machine with facilities for diagnosing conditions such as irritable bladder, stress incontinence and condition where there is difficulty in passing urine.
